Three women were honored as The citizen of the YEARS , for the years of service they offered to the local community as well as to other causes where help is needed .Amongst those three , long time member of Triveni Mitra Mandal , is included Sarla Waikar .Sarla and her husband Professor Vasant Waikar of Miami University came to Oxford in 1968 after 5 years in Tallahassee and Fort Walton Beach Florida.If interested in knowing more about this honor click here.
