Bridge Tournament was fantastic.  Hall was spacious and well set, game arrangements had the Pandit signature, Sarla Tai's food needs no words, and Neeraj and Miti did an outstanding job on the kitchen.  Thanks especially to bunch of volunteers who helped with tea, coffee, cleaning and setting up of the game and the kitchen area.  

 

Best of all, there was no technoference.  People were so engrossed in the game and the meal, that no photos were taken nor any loud phone rings.

 

Special thanks to 16 pairs of participants spanning across 3 generations, who followed the netiquettes of the game and rules of the kitchen area gracefully.  North-South teams were novices, and East-West team were experts.  Both sides had their fair share of fun and learning.  East-West showed sympathy and maturity, while North-South teams showed humility and curiosity.

 

Ankur was gracious to provide us the facility with the bridge playing sets, tables, chairs and their hearty support, all at no charge.  Triveni made a token donation to appreciate the generosity.  Triveni Sports had its sixth successful function.  TT, Carom, Walk, Chess, Salsa and now Bridge.  Bowling is next.  Watch your email.

 

Results are included here.  The real winners are its participants, volunteers, caterer, Ankur, Triveni, coordinators and event directors.   Congratulations to all of them plus the event winners!!!!

Triveni Sports Event - Bridge  !!!

Triveni is pleased to announce the 2015 Duplicate Bridge Tournament to be held at Ankur Gujrati Samaj facility on Saturday, April 11 at Noon. The event will be pairs format with a snacks/tea break in between. Triveni acknowledges and thanks Ankur Gujrati Samaj for their support of this event. Shri Arun Pandit will serve as the tournament director.

Entry Fee: $10 per pair.  We have space for 10 tables and 20 pairs.  Entries will NOT be accepted once 20 pairs have signed up.  First come first served.  So sign up fast.

Awards: Top 2 pairs in North/South, Top 2 pairs in East/West (4 total)
